Point to Point
This short, easy route begins at the Sullivan Preserve trailhead off Sullivan Road in Queensbury, NY. From the parking area, follow KC’s Pride Trail into a shady hardwood forest. After a short distance, turn right onto Mary Ann’s Moguls for a few mellow ups and downs, then continue onto Deadman’s Trail. Stay right at the next signed junction to reach Galien’s Glide, which gradually winds back toward the trailhead. The trails are well-marked but closely spaced—stick to this main loop to avoid unnecessary confusion.
With mild terrain and a quiet, forested setting, this route is well-suited for beginners, families, and hikers looking for a mellow walk. It’s open year-round for walking, snowshoeing, or cross-country skiing, though ticks can be a concern in warmer months. While the trail network offers several named segments, this primary loop is the most direct way to experience the preserve.
