Description
This trail begins a short distance beyond where A-Loop Trail returns to Janus Road. From the end of A-Loop Trail, hike easterly for a short distance on Janus Road. The trail leaves Janus Rd on the right and climbs over a steep roadside berm and then climbs moderately to a high point alongside Janus Rd before turning downhill. The next section has been recently re-worked to bypass a sketchy bridge crossing that did not meet State DEC trail bridge specs. The new section bypasses the old bridge crossing following the ravine valley and eventually crosses over the stream with a surface crossing. After the stream crossing (expect to get wet during high water), the grade becomes moderately steep. After the high point is reached, the grade remains fairly level to the end where it connects with C-Loop Trail.
