Loop
The Mobbs Hill Loop begins and ends at the parking area off Browns Trace Road in Jericho Center, providing access to a well-maintained trail network managed by the Jericho Underhill Land Trust. This easy-to-moderate route travels through hardwood forest with gentle climbs and descents, crossing small brooks and skirting seasonal wetlands. Several junctions throughout the network allow hikers to shorten or extend their route depending on conditions or time available. At a few points along the trail, openings in the trees offer glimpses of Camel’s Hump and nearby Green Mountain ridgelines.
This route is open year-round and is popular for hiking, dog-walking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. Expect muddy conditions during the spring thaw and snow cover from late fall through early spring. Wildflowers and ferns line the path in summer, while bird activity is common throughout the year. No permits are required, but tick protection is recommended in warmer months and traction may be needed in winter.
