Description
This trail enters the preserve on the back side of the marsh, and rugged timber 'decking' provides a walkway over the muddy bank directly adjacent to the marsh. Tall marshland grasses line the pond, and redwing black birds can be frequently heard fluttering about, making their characteristic sing-song of dense twittering and and sputters.
