Lytle Nature Preserve Woods

This easy route begins from a small parking area on the south side of North Canal Street in Lockport. After crossing the road at a marked crosswalk, follow the path into the Lytle Nature Preserve and begin along a short boardwalk section that spans marshy ground. From there, the trail enters a mixed hardwood forest and loops through a peaceful woodland setting. At a Y-intersection shortly after the boardwalk, stay right to follow the route clockwise through the eastern section of the preserve.
