The Wesley Hill Nature Preserve route begins at the parking area off Wesley Road in Honeoye, New York. Follow the main trail into a broad hardwood forest. Shortly after starting, turn left at the first junction to follow the trail clockwise. The route winds through rolling glacial terrain with a mix of drumlins, eskers, and kettle depressions. At each junction, stay left to remain on the main loop.
The trail includes several short climbs and descents beneath mature stands of oak, hickory, and maple, with occasional boardwalks across seasonal wet areas. About halfway through, the path skirts a high ridge offering partial views through the trees before descending toward a hemlock grove and small stream crossing. The forest floor supports rich wildflower displays in spring and vibrant color in fall. Complete the loop by continuing straight at the final junction to return to the trailhead. This route is a quiet and scenic walk through varied glacial woodland terrain.
