Trail Overview

This trail is a 9.5-mile trail that runs between China Meadows and Red Mountain trails. The trail starts on both ends as a well-maintained, wide gravel road before it becomes narrower and rougher. Most of the trail is not horrible, with just shallow ruts and small rocks, but there are a couple of shallow water crossings, as well as a small mudhole that must be crossed along the trail. The south end of the trail has a large turnaround just before the trail narrows, with the North end just gradually getting narrower and rougher as you head South. This trail is open year-round but may be impassable due to snow during the winter and early spring. This trail is also only open to highway-legal vehicles.
