Trail Overview
Deep Hole Lake Road navigates from its intersection with Berry Lane to its intersection with Sand Lake Road. This is a multi-use county forest road that is a popular trail for ATV's and SxSs, as the trail provides access to the Mole Lake area and is one of the ways that the Langlade County ATV and SxS trail system can be accessed. This is a fun, fast-paced dirt trail that winds through growing forests. The trail is about 1.5 vehicles wide in most locations, opening up to two vehicles in a couple of locations. There are several soft spots on this trail, as well as mud holes that will develop after rainfall. These are typically under 3 inches deep and do not pose much of a challenge but do help to add some fun to the trail. The trail's ditch lines are skinny and do not offer much in the form of room if pulling off the trail is needed. There are several drops located along the edge of this trail that are created by the Hemlock Creek. Sight Lines throughout the trail are good in most locations, with there only being a couple of spots where there is a reduction in visibility due to steep, sharp hills or sharp corners. There are several blind corners located around this trail. Cell service in this area is spotty at best, and traveling with downloaded maps is a must if this area is unknown. This trail serves as a groomed snowmobile trail in the winter months.
