Trail Overview

This 24.4-mile out-and-back trail runs along Wells Creek and ends at the Cougar Divide Trailhead. This trail has many beautiful views of Mt. Baker and the surrounding canyons. Nooksack Falls is the most popular waterfall along this trail, but there are several other waterfalls to see. The trail is a maintained forest service road and is passable by most 2WD vehicles and any stock AWD or 4WD vehicles.

great views on the way up and down. there's a couple forks towards the top of the trail that lead to a couple campsites that are big enough for a few rigs but don't really have any views. There are several view sites on the way up on the main trail. 2wd vehicles with average clearance would probably be fine if they're not just sending it

This is closed currently right after Nooksack falls. No sign posted as to why but I assume it's seasonal

Both gates past the falls are open. Followed the road down to the river past the Wells Creek Trailhead and checked out the waterfall to the left. Great Mt Baker views.
