Trail Overview

Webking Road is a 7.4-mile point-to-point route through the Little Pend Oreille National Wildlife Refuge. This single-lane dirt road has a much more primitive character than many of the maintained gravel roads in the refuge. Several sections are heavily overgrown, with brush narrowing the roadway considerably. Rutting, off-camber sections, and several large muddy potholes create rough conditions along the way.

Difficulty

Webking Road is rated easy. Heavy overgrowth, narrow sections, rutting, off-camber terrain, and large muddy potholes require careful driving. Conditions can become significantly more difficult after rain, and drivers should expect pinstriping in the overgrown sections.
