Trail Overview
Scaler is a 1.6-mile point-to-point 50-inch-and-under trail in the Foothills ORV system that climbs through a recently logged clearcut before entering a more densely wooded section. The trail is fast and flowing, featuring numerous bermed turns that make for an enjoyable ride. Riders will encounter scattered sections of loose rock along the climb, but the surface is otherwise well maintained and easy to follow. A Discover Pass is required for recreation and parking within the Foothills ORV system.
Difficulty
Scaler is rated easy. The trail is generally smooth and flowing, with its primary challenges being occasional patches of loose rock that can reduce traction, particularly while climbing or cornering. The bermed turns help maintain momentum, and there are no significant obstacles, making the route well suited for riders of most experience levels on ATVs and dirt bikes.
