Planters Loop - FR 2340

Just southeast of Brown Creek Campground is where Planters Loop begins. You can run the loop in either direction and enjoy the beautiful forest scenery all the same. Sadly the view out and down the mountainside never quite opens up as the forest is dense throughout the trail. However, you will occasionally catch glimpses in the thinner areas. The trail itself is in pretty good shape with the occasional potholes and erosion ruts, but nothing that a 2WD vehicle couldn't handle. The area is closed from October 1 - April 30. No cell service.
