Trail Overview

This route follows FS 2340 to Spider Lake. Once you arrive, you may be looking for spiders but don't miss this beautiful little lake nestled in the middle of the Olympic Mountains. It is unclear how this lake got its name. The trail to get here is pretty tame in the Spring, Summer, and Fall, however, is piled with snow during the winter. You will feel a few bumps and it's a great idea to carry a chainsaw as there are always downed trees. The lake and river beyond offer some great camping opportunities and fishing for Rainbow Trout.

Main road was easily accessible. There was no snow yet. Only two wheel drive was needed. There were slick spots but able to be transversed if you were slow/careful.
