Trail Overview
North Side Dan's Creek is a 1.7-mile out-and-back trail that, as of December 2025, ends at heavy brush encroachment, as shown in the last photo. The trail technically continues for an additional 2 miles, but would require significant clearing to become passable. The first half-mile crosses private property clearly marked with no trespassing signs; please remain on the designated route and respect all posted signage. Road surfaces range from gravel to soft mud approaching the overgrown section. With adequate clearing efforts, this route has the potential to become a quality trail. North Side Dan's Creek is open year-round to motorized travel.
Difficulty
North Side Dan's Creek is an easy but narrow and overgrown trail. A small section of soft mud near the end may present challenges for 2WD vehicles. Due to limited use, visitors should bring a chainsaw for clearing windfall. Snow conditions may significantly increase trail difficulty and should be considered before attempting passage.
