Difficulty

This is an intermediate trail mostly due to side-hilling segments of significant exposure, that is not ideal for inexperienced riders. The trail itself is very smooth with very few rocks, and the majority of the trail is very easy. There are a couple rocky switchbacks on the north end, and a few steep spots throughout the route, but it is mostly gradual and flowy. Since this trail goes through a burn area, it will likely require extensive log cutting in early season every year, but as of July 2026 it was clear of any logs due to extensive work from local volunteers that maintain the trails. Watch out for new log hazards.
