Trail Overview

Starting from the top of this road, it departs Van Creek Road in dense conifer forest and descends a 1.5 lane dirt road with deep rutting, "whoops", and a few small rock obstacles under 12". Most obstacles can be avoided. After descending through the forest, we drop into meadows created by power line roads. There are quite a few small side trails. No camping opportunities along the road, but the side trails may offer some campsites. The lower portion of this road is a 2-lane, well-maintained gravel road that travels through private properties/residences. Please respect private property, and please respect the posted speed limit of 20 MPH to keep the dust down.

Difficulty

Deep ruts, whoops, and a few rocks. Moderately steep grades. All obstacles are less than 12 inches.

Only drove on the latter half, where it goes under the power lines. Mostly pretty easy going winding up the mountain, but there was a very large puddle before where it goes into the woods. High Clearance only, as you would definitely get stuck in that puddle otherwise.
