Trail Overview
FS 2140200 begins as an easy hardpack dirt road open to highway-legal vehicles, including street-legal motorcycles and 4x4s. The route has few significant obstacles, though the hardpack can become slippery when wet. About halfway through, an opening in the trees provides a scenic campsite. Around three-quarters of the way in, conditions change as the road becomes heavily overgrown with thick vegetation and slippery exposed roots. A fallen tree reduces overhead clearance to approximately 5 feet, making passage difficult for 4x4s. Farther along, another fallen log creates even less clearance and effectively prevents 4x4s from continuing. Motorcycles may still be able to pass. The route ends at another campsite tucked among dense trees and vegetation. There are a few small log hops at the end.
Difficulty
The underlying trail is easy, but wet conditions, slippery roots, heavy overgrowth, and multiple low-clearance logs significantly limit 4x4 access toward the end.
