Trail Overview

This is an easy dirt/gravel trail that can be narrow at times, which means depending on the width of your rig, you might pick up some extra trail badges. Lookout Mountain Road offers some magnificent vistas that include Mount Hood. If you're making a longer haul through this mountain range, there is plenty of dispersed camping in this area. It is also close enough to Hemlock to get some pricey fuel and groceries.

There is a road that offshoots to the top of lookout mountain. I would rate it about a 4. It could be done in a stock truck or SUV. The views are epic!

Fairly easy trail. Nothing crazy just some ruts on a small portion but easy to navigate around. Beautiful views throughout and at the top

If you give a rig with bigger tires you’ll probably make it, icy snow, gets to about 6” deep from what I saw, 5th gen 4Runner couldn’t make it on 33’s
