Trail Overview

This deep forest trail will allow you to connect with other trails in the area. The trail is your typical deep forest trail with washouts, ruts, overgrowth, and low-hanging limbs. You may encounter some erosion on the trail and a few washouts that will place you in off-camber situations. Pin-striping is possible; during the rainy months, you may encounter semi-deep mud as the washouts and ruts fill with water. Passing is possible in some areas of the trail, whereas in other places, the trail will be narrow and will not be able to pass.

A nice beautiful drive up to Zig Zag Lake. 4x4 recommended due to some erosion and deep ruts. Past the trailhead, the road became impassable in mid-April due to deep snow. I'm looking forward to making the drive once the snow melts.

Just passed zig zag lake trailhead heading east deep snow stopped us. Made it 1/8 mile before turning around and snow still continued out of sight

This road is a little more overgrown, but not too bad. expect some pinstripes. My oversized mirrors got smacked in a few times.
