This is a dirt-based forest road that is narrow and one vehicle wide, with room to pass. The trail gradually climbs nearly 1,700 feet in elevation and has some two-track areas. There are lots of humps/whoops to navigate, as well as minor ruts and wash. There are several mud holes and potholes, but any vehicle type should be able to travel this trail. Camping is allowed along the entire trail, and you will have dense forest views with an occasional view of the surrounding ridges. There are many dispersed campsites along the way; however, there are no amenities and very little cell phone service.
