Ingersoll Road

This out-and-back road starts from Colockum Road and ends a little over six miles later at a gate. Even though it begins on open grassland, it provides access to many acres of public forest land. There are side roads that could be explored on foot, horseback, or bicycle, but are closed to motorized vehicles. The road has erosion damage, water bars, embedded and loose rocks up to a foot deep or higher. It is wide enough to meet another vehicle safely in many places.
