Trail Overview

FS 2300246 is a short gravel spur that starts climbing right away, holding a steady but never difficult incline as it works upward through the trees. A pullout campsite appears after the first turn, and the well-used surface makes for an easy ascent. At roughly 0.7 miles, the spur tops out at a flat, open area ringed by forest like a shallow bowl and dotted with white wildflowers, where a fire ring and plenty of flat ground make for a roomy, scenic spot that can host many vehicles. It is a quick, easy climb to a pleasant open destination, well suited to a group looking to camp together.
