This is a dirt-based forest road that is narrow and one lane wide. In some areas, the trail is two-track, and for most of the trail, it is bumpy and rocky. There are mud holes and ruts that are a foot or more in some areas, and this is a free-range area for cattle, which are frequently on the trail. You will have views of the surrounding peaks as you gradually climb around 800 feet in elevation over 2.3 miles. There are no amenities on the trail, and cell phone service is weak, so travel prepared. You are around an hour from the nearest services and supplies on this trail. A high clearance 4x4 is recommended for this trail.
