Trail Overview

This is a short trail that connects FS 1386 to a forest road that connects back to the Bucky ATV trail. It is a narrow forested trail that is fast and flowy with gradual curves and silty dirt. There are a few downed logs that have been cut. The trail mostly just winds through a dense forest of cedars and hemlocks. It traverses the hillside, descending on a semi-steep slope from south to north, dropping about 300 feet in elevation over .7 miles. There is a bit of loose rock in the trail at times, making it a bumpier ride, but most of it is smooth and free of any large obstacles. It’s an easy trail option near the Manastash Campground that connects to several other trails and is good for newer riders making short loops from the campground.

Difficulty

This is an easy trail because it does not have any major obstacles and is mostly a gradual grade, making it approachable for newer riders. It only has a little bit of rock and short, steep climbs, but is overall a low-consequence trail option, great for newer riders.
