Trail Overview

Corral Pass is a steep winding trail leading to a horse corral and camp area. It's located in the Snoqualmie National Forest and offers many hiking opportunities along the way. The signs at the start remind you to not take a trailer. However, if you're experienced and have a small overland trailer you may be fine. When it's wet, the trail has a very slippery mud surface layer. Near the top, the area is burned from the 2017 Norse Peak wildfire. When heading back down, the trail is very steep, and heavy vehicles may experience brake overheating. Be sure to use lower gears, and perhaps 4L to control speed and preserve the brakes.

Difficulty

The rating could be higher due to steepness and muddy conditions in the wet seasons but if it is dry its an easy trail.

Trail was pretty easy, however there are many fallen trees with narrow gaps to fit in between. My f150 barely fit through a few. It’s super slushy/snowy up towards the top. As long as you don’t stop or derailed from the tracks you should be OK.
