Trail Overview
Beehive Trail is a short and easy single track in the Wenatchee National Forest. It gradually climbs from east to west, starting near the Beehive Reservoir and ending at an intersection with the Devil’s Spur Trail, gaining about 500 feet over the climb. It makes several tight switchbacks as it ascends, with a bit of mild exposure in between the switchbacks as it traverses across the hillside. The majority of the trail is wide and flowy, with only a bit of loose rock in the trail. It is dry and dusty, riding across wide open grassy hillsides with ponderosa pines. It is the easiest trail in the area, and a short commitment for newer riders, being only 1.6 miles long. The trail was unmarked at the north end, but was well-used and easy to follow. You may see hikers on this trail, as it is very near town.
