Trail Overview

The trail starts as a dirt road passing a few farms, then into the woods. Once you're into the wood line, expect a narrower trail you could still fit a full-size truck through, with a lot of loose rock with a few muddy spots as the trail continues North. The trail is relatively easygoing until you reach the section with a few rock ledges. There are bypasses for the most difficult (first) ledges but afterward, only an ATV or smaller could bypass the remaining sections. Easily negotiated, but maybe a consideration for a lower clearance vehicle. Once past the rocky section of small ledges, it returns to an easier path like before with pockets that may get muddy with recent rainfall. The trail returns to dirt road status near the top of the hill, then descends as you pass some local farms and open cuts with decent views of the scenery.

Difficulty

The hardest obstacle is a 1-2ft ledge. A bypass is an easy option next to the obstacle. It was easy to navigate in a 2Dr Jeep on 35s with no lockers... for reference.

Short but very fun trail. Partly runs up a riverbed with lots of washouts and twists and turns. Towards the top of the trail are the rock ledges.

Bone dry and rocky still a fun quick trail, I prefer it when water is running down the trail it adds more of a challenge, I went up it this time and an fyi a long wheelbase vehicle may get body damage at the entrance or you could say the gate keeper

I ran it down hill from north to south, in a stock Toyota Tacoma with open diffs. It’s very dry now so plenty of traction. I could imagine in the wet going up hill being harder.

Very fun uphill crawl that just kept going. Used a spotter for the first ledge and had good clearance in our 12" 4x4. Technical at points navigating uneven trail requiring proper tire placement but fun as hell.

Very fun short trail, took me about 30 minutes in a very stock long wheelbase truck, no diff lock, 35” tires, I had a passenger/spotter which is pretty necessary due to the big chunky rocks, we saw one guy on a enduro style bike.

Rather badly washed out. Several of the ledges initially listed as 12" and closer to 18-24" now. That initial drop other mention as the gatekeeper is deeper now and has a log in there waiting to puncture a tire. The bypass for it is hazardous too, as there isn't enough room to make the turn back onto the trail (I earned a nice dent in the middle trying to make a tight left turn). Difficulty is definitely at least a 5.

The initial washout is a great gate keeper for the rest of the road as if you can’t make that then the last ledge will pose an issue. Trail is fairly narrow!

Trail is open, tree that was across the road was cut. I would still say it's a 5

Trail in bad condition due to washout. Tree logging operations, not as nice as original photos here. Some trees blocking the trail, not sure if they fell down due to weather or or during logging work.
