Trail Overview

This Vermont trail begins off Lincoln Gap Road near the summit on the Lincoln side. The route follows a well-maintained logging road that is not currently in use, so encountering other vehicles is unlikely. This easy out-and-back trail is suitable for most vehicles and ends at a turnaround that may be tight for full-size trucks or SUVs. The turnaround also offers an opportunity for base camping. Lincoln Gap Road closes during the winter, making this primarily a late spring through early fall trail.
