Trail Overview

This 9-mile out-and-back dirt road from Tibble Fork Reservoir to Silver Lake is beautiful and boasts mountain views. Make sure to bring your paddleboards and/or kayaks to use at either lake. The road is well maintained and driven by cars and vans but is narrow in a few places-not quite wide enough for 2 cars to pass comfortably.

Road has several rough spots that were holding up cars and other low clearance vehicles. Listing probably needs to upgrade the difficulty of the road due to road damage.

Very crowded never know I would be sitting in traffic on a dirt off road trail. Lake at top looks really cool and the trails at top are fun but harder than the rating says.

Gate is closed. Expected to reopen this Saturday if no snow. Some idiots went up and bypassed the gate. Don’t bypass the gate, if it’s closed there’s a reason.
