Trail Overview

Out and back, lots of chunks, but the trail is plenty wide to navigate. A few various tight turns that can be navigated as well. The trail gets progressively more chunky as you climb in elevation. Some larger rock gardens take skill to navigate. The top parts of the trail are washed out, rutted from drainage, and steep. Very few dispersed camping opportunities, but a very fun and technical day trail. Full-size vehicles will be scratched by trees.

Difficulty

Long steep grades, lots of trekking through rock gardens and fields. Takes line choice and lots of knowledge of the capabilities of your vehicle to navigate successfully. Lots of shark fin rocks with the potential to break parts if not careful.

Really fun trail for a stock rig. Has a few challenging spots if you have open diffs and low clearance. The view from the top is phenomenal. The smells of lavender and mint just makes the drive that much better.
