Trail Overview
Big Flat is a fun trail up in the Snake Creek area. It is definitely a tighter trail, with a chance you might get a pin stripe or two, especially in a wider vehicle. This trail does have one spot that adds to most of the challenge, and is a steep, rocky climb that you will most likely want a spotter so you don't scrape a door on the big rock that protrudes from one wall on the side. We did this trail very early in spring with snow still covering parts of the trail, so we do not know for sure, but it does look as though there is a bypass to this optical, but it seemed overgrown and covered in snow when we were there. Definitely a trail worth checking out with great views and fun wheeling.
Difficulty
The trail has lots of deep ruts that would end very poorly if you were to slide in. It also has some rocky areas and one area that is steep and rocky, which will feel very tippy, and it would be a good idea to have a spotter.
