Trail Overview
Meadow Park ATV Trail is a short ATV connector trail within the Murdock Basin ATV system. It rides through wide open grassy meadows for the majority of the route, crossing a small wooden bridge over a little stream crossing. It passes scenic glades interspersed with lodgepole pines. The terrain is consistently rocky, with lots of small loose and embedded rock surfaces. There aren’t any major ledges in the trail from the rocks, but the consistent rock surfaces make it a slower and bumpier ride, and the loose baby heads can ping you around. This short trail connects the FS 416 trail to a midway point on the Broadhead Loop FS 306, providing easy access or a bailout from the longer loop.
Difficulty
Meadow is an easy trail because it is a short connector trail that is mostly gradual, with no major obstacles, but does have minor rocks throughout the route. Expect football-sized loose rocks in the trail that can ping you around, shallow ruts, and the potential for downed tree hazards.
