Broadhead Meadows - FS 80416

This trail runs from Mirror Lake Highway and heads south to where it intersects with Murdock Basin. This trail is a little rocky in spots, with some small ruts as well as the potential for shallow mudholes, but overall, the trail is relatively easy to navigate. This trail is also narrower on the north end before it begins to parallel the meadow, where the trail widens out a bit and becomes less overgrown. This trail is also scenic as it crosses through a small stream and winds its way through the forest to the meadow, where it then enters the clearing and climbs up onto the hillside overlooking the surrounding area. This trail is open to all vehicles and has no seasonal closure, but is impassable due to snow during the winter, usually from November through June.
