Trail Overview

This trail starts at SR-9 on an easy dirt road, that has a few ruts and sandy parts. High Clearance 4WD is recommended due to how deep some of the ruts are. Stay on the 73, till you see a turnoff for 73M. Follow the road for 1.5 miles till you get to the end. This road will become more sandy as you keep driving. This trail overlooks the Barracks Trail and is a stunning 360 view of the surrounding cliffs. One of the best campsites you could find.

The trail is open and unobstructed. There was a quarter mile section of sand that was a ton of fun. Also, there's a section about halfway through the trail that is somewhat overgrown by weeds so be sure to follow the trail on the app and it will get you through. Recent rains created a ditch at a couple of points on the trail but it was easy to navigate past them. THE VIEW IS WORTH IT!
