Trail Overview

This route encompasses two trails, ATV2 and ATV4 in the beautiful Wasatch Mountain State Park. This route used to start lower down, but recent construction has moved the entrance higher off of Cascade Springs. The trail is best suited to side-by-sides, dirt bikes, and ATVs. Narrow full-size machines can probably use the route; however, passing or dealing with oncoming traffic would be extremely difficult. The trail is generally rocky with some uneven rutted sections. It can get very dusty when it's dry, so most enjoyable to make a run when there's been some moisture! The views of Solider Hollow and Deer Creek Reservoir are amazing. Fall brings some very pretty views with the red leaves and some aspens higher up. This is a great trail for beginners or those looking for a dirt route to connect to more trails in the State Park.
