Trail Overview
Rock Hop is one of the most technical trails located within Concan Adventure Trails and is intended primarily for dedicated rock crawler vehicles. Although the trail is relatively short in length, it gains elevation quickly as it climbs uphill along the ranch fence line before ending at a dead end near the top. Drivers must turn around at the summit and descend back down the same route. The trail is heavily focused on technical rock obstacles rather than scenery or distance, making it one of the more extreme obstacle-based climbs in the park. Large boulders and uneven terrain dominate the route from start to finish, requiring careful tire placement and highly capable off-road vehicles.
Difficulty
On this trail, you’ll encounter steep elevation gain, large boulders, uneven rock ledges, and highly technical terrain throughout the climb. The obstacles require significant ground clearance, suspension articulation, and precise wheel placement to navigate safely.
