Trail Overview
Outback Highway is a scenic connector trail located within Concan Adventure Trails that links the back trail systems of the park to Main Street near the entrance, restrooms, and shower facilities. The route offers an easy drive through open Hill Country terrain and serves primarily as a transit trail for accessing different sections of the ranch. The trail provides a relaxed backroad-style experience with scenic surroundings and is commonly used to move between the more technical trail systems deeper in the park and the main staging areas near the entrance.
Difficulty
On this trail, you’ll encounter a mostly smooth dirt and gravel surface with minimal elevation change or technical obstacles. The route remains easy under most conditions and is suitable for a wide variety of vehicles. During wet weather, some muddy or slick sections may develop, but overall the trail remains straightforward and beginner-friendly.
