Trail Overview

This winding dirt road is frequently narrow, although several areas provide enough room for two vehicles to pass. Under normal dry conditions, the route can be traveled in a 2WD vehicle, but the surface may become slick during or after rain. An abundance of wildlife can often be seen on both sides of the trail, so drivers should remain alert and travel at a reasonable speed. A large canopy of tree branches covers much of the route, creating the possibility of fallen trees or limbs after storms. Report any blockages to the Sam Houston Ranger District office. The trail intersects with Alsobrooks Road.
