Trail Overview

Nice moderate climb up and down. The trail has some mud holes that are rock bottom. There are also some rocks and ledges up to 18". The trail outside the Windrock Park property limit is a little more difficult and not maintained as well as the portion of the trail owned by Windrock. The views are very nice and the trail is a fun drive.

Trail conditions were overall good. Some puddles and standing water. Nothing too deep. Obstacles very challenging for full size vehicles. Definitely not a 4/10 on the difficulty scale. Wild day.

Started off fairly easy and fun with some slopes and decent size rocks then came around the corner to a super steep rutted out rock climb. This one wasn’t for the faint of heart rode up strattling one of the deep ruts with a large ledge and end up sliding the driver rear into the rut. Got lucky we didn’t roll on this one. Wish we could’ve made up this hill to hit the rest of the trail but decided to back down since the rest looked to get worse up the hill

The last 2 miles was a black trail all day long ! Glad we had others to help us thru and gravity. Would not try going up.

Grade 3-4 sounds right for the Windrock portion of the trail. After that it was pretty rutted in places. Also somewhat slippery after the rain. Barely made it downhill in a Stock Wrangler on 33s. Don't think could have climbed it up.
