Trail Overview

The Sandlick Trail is an easy trail ride that navigates through thick Tennessee mountain laurel, crosses several small streams along the way, and has a beautiful waterfall called No Business. This trail is one of the biggest feeder trails in the Tackett Creek area, with several trails branching off from it; coming in from Davis Creek Road, the first trails that lead off Sandlick are Tornado Alley rated a 5, Childers Gap rated a 5, No Business Hollow rated a 7, and Wolf Business rated a 7. All the trails in this riding area are multi-use; hikers, mountain bikes, ATVs, SxSs, and Jeeps access them. The driver of each vehicle is required to have a Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency high-impact permit.

This trail is fun trail that leads to a waterfall just past the creek crossing. Nothing too technical has some spots of mud puddles I suggest checking depth before entering and one rocky section but nothing hard. It does lead you too several other trails if you wanted to make a day in the area.
