Trail Overview

This gravel forest service road makes a loop around the southwestern side of Catoosa Wildlife Management Area, with several more roads connecting at various points. The entrance has a wooden bridge with a 3 ton limit. Wild camping is not allowed, but a campground with several unimproved sites is provided. The area is closed to travel from sun down to sun up. Cell service is limited throughout the area. An abandoned forest lookout tower is located a short distance from the trail.

Main trail is easy. All gravel. Some of the offshoots are more challenging. Rutted in places.
