Trail Overview

Trail 88 - Bearwallow Branch is an easy "blue" trail that offers mountain views across the park even to view to the windmills! Rock bluffs tower over the trail with this steady climb up the mountain. Minute waterfalls will spill off the mountain side eroding away at the trail, so expect multiple washouts with ruts and rocks. This freshly cut trail expands more north into the park's vast wilderness to its borders on the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) land. It begins on the northwest end at HWY 116 on Pavement and ends at Trail 50.
