Trail Overview

Trail 60 - Bridge Branch is a great moderate difficulty "blue" trail according to the park map. This trail features a little bit of everything an offroader looks for in a trail - rock ledges, mud holes, constant obstacles, and a lengthy ride. The soil consists of a silty composition so the mud doesn't stick to the tires. The rocks can be sharp, so be sure to air down to reduce damaged sidewalls. The northernmost section of Trail 60 has many paths carved in the mountain with water-filled lanes. The center lanes have been traveled the most and offer hard bottoms to avoid sinking. Trail 60 also gives access to Trail 90.

Good trail, little bit of everything- rock crawling, mud holes, tight turns and pretty scenery. It should be noted that Windrock has made this trail harder - it is no longer a blue, moderate trail. It is now a black diamond trail. I made it through in my JLU Sport with a spotter, a rear limited slip, 3” lift and 35s. Vehicles not built to a similar level will struggle.

Pretty challenging for stock Rubi on 33s. Ultimately got through everything but with a lot of skids banging on several rock ledges, partly because it was still a little wet after the rain the other night.
