Trail Overview

Westline - FS 122 is a connecting trail between Red House and Westline. In Westline is a really nice Restaurant called the Westline Inn. This is a dirt-packed surface road with plenty of potholes. The road travels along Kinzua Creek, which is great for fishing. There are plenty of small creeks like Markham Run, Whiting Run, Libby Run, and Thundershower Run running off the mountainside, which add to the peacefulness of this trail in the forest. This is a very used road as there are camps along this trail. There is plenty of room for passing oncoming vehicles. Some areas of this trail are rough, so keep an eye on the road and be prepared to slow down. Accessibility: Like many forest roads, its condition can vary, and it is best to check the Allegheny National Forest Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM) for the latest information on its status. Conditions are also subject to weather and seasonal changes. https://www.fs.usda.gov/r09/allegheny
