Trail Overview
Mountain Ridge ATV Park Singletrack CC is a technical singletrack trail designed for dirt bike riders seeking a demanding test of skill through rugged mountainside terrain. As the third segment of the larger seven-mile Singletrack C loop, this 0.9-mile trail offers riders a dense concentration of obstacles, starting from an unmarked ATV access path at the end of Singletrack CB and snaking up and down the steep slopes along Shamrock Trail. With elevation ranging between 2,472 feet and 2,680 feet, the route features continuous climbs and descents with an average gradient of nine degrees and maximum slopes reaching up to 29 degrees.
Earning a technical rating of 6, this challenging singletrack demands precise clutch control, solid traction, and confident handling to conquer its loose uphills, tight switchbacks, off-camber lines, and steep descents. The trail frequently interfaces with Shamrock Trail, providing convenient access points for those who want to run only this portion or exit the loop early. Situated within the pay-to-ride Mountain Ridge ATV Park in Somerset, Pennsylvania, the trail can be reached via the park's main North-South dirt route, with day parking, restrooms, showers, and camping facilities available near the main office.
Difficulty
This trail has lots of loose uphills, switchbacks, off-cambers and steep descents. Elevation change galore! You will be wanting good traction and clutch control for this section! Far more technical than anything you have seen on Singletrack C up until this point!
