Trail Overview
Mountain Ridge ATV Park Singletrack CB is a thrilling, intermediate dirt bike trail designed for riders looking to test their skills on technical woodland terrain while enjoying excellent flow. Serving as the second leg of the larger seven-mile Singletrack C loop in Somerset, Pennsylvania, this roughly 0.7-mile segment elevates the challenge with a moderate technical difficulty. The route begins either off the Shamrock ATV trail or directly from the more difficult connector of Singletrack CA, climbing steadily through shaded forests. Riders will encounter an elevation gain of around 265 feet as they navigate a mix of hard-packed dirt, natural obstacles, and moderate climbs.
This section steps up the intensity with a handful of small rock gardens and several challenging log crossings that require precise throttle control. The majority of the singletrack maintains a faster, open flow, but the real test lies at the end of the run where a steep descent features technical drop-offs. At the bottom of this hill, riders can choose between a challenging straight-down descent or a right-hand bypass leading toward the scenic lookout and the Shamrock trail. As part of a premier pay-to-ride facility, the trail is easily accessible from the main day parking lot, making it easy to session this single segment or link it with the rest of the park's expansive trail network.
Difficulty
This section of trail is slightly more difficult than the last, with a few small rock gardens, several log crossings and a steep descent at the end with some drop offs. The majority of the trail is faster, with good flow, and pretty open. No need to fear this section of trail!
