Trail Overview
Mountain Ridge ATV Park Singletrack CE is a short, highly technical dirt bike trail designed for experienced singletrack riders seeking a quick challenge with demanding obstacles. Serving as the fifth section of the larger seven-mile Singletrack C loop, this 0.27-mile trail starts where Singletrack CD ends and packs significant technical features into its brief length. Riders face a starting elevation of around 2,592 feet, ascending to 2,745 feet over a short distance, which requires excellent throttle control and balance. The trail begins with an immediate descent over a steep side hill before forcing riders to navigate off-camber terrain and log crossings, testing even seasoned offroaders.
The route is characterized by its dirt and rock surface, featuring a small rock garden that leads directly into a sharp 90-degree turn uphill. This leads to a loose, steep hill climb where loose dirt and stones make traction difficult, capped off by undercut ledges and tight trees at the summit. After clearing these obstacles, riders must navigate a narrow side hill back across the slope before emerging onto the Shamrock Hard trail. This technical segment has a difficulty rating of 6 out of 10 and is best ridden during dry seasons, as wet weather makes the off-camber sections and loose climbs exceptionally slick.
Difficulty
This trail is very short and technical. You will find steep off-camber sections with some log crossings, a small rock section, and then a sharp 90-degree turn uphill to a very loose hill climb. At the top of the climb, expect some undercut ledges and trees. Once you're over them, you will side hill back the way you came until you exit the trail.
