Trail Overview
Mountain Ridge ATV Park Singletrack CA is a challenging yet accessible 0.8-mile singletrack segment designed specifically for dirt bike riders looking to test their skills on the first section of the park's Singletrack C loop. Located within the Mountain Ridge ATV Park in Somerset, Pennsylvania, this trail starts right off the main North-South trail and immediately challenges riders with deep, bike-swallowing ruts within the first 300 yards. As the trail progresses, riders encounter a technical mix of rocks, dirt, and tight tree clearances that require precise navigation and steady throttle control. Elevation ranges from 2,628 feet to 2,761 feet, with a cumulative loss of about 122 feet and an average gradient of just over 3 degrees, giving it a moderate technical rating of 4.
Towards the end of this section, riders are presented with a clear choice at a junction marked "Hard" and "Easy," offering an opportunity to exit before encountering more challenging rock features. The hard option features mild rock obstacles with opportunities for small jumps or drop-offs, while the easy path provides a smoother bypass. Both options lead directly to Shamrock Trail, where riders on the hard route can cross directly into the next section of the Singletrack C loop, while those taking the easy way can transition onto Shamrock Trail to head back or explore other areas of the park.
