Trail Overview

This sand track starts at the South Jetty Staging Area and ends at the beach. It often has some whoops, but is usually not terribly soft. The track also passes through (or around with a detour) the Goose Pasture Staging Area. Both of these staging areas have bathrooms. Most of it is easy, with the exception being the last dune along the beach. Don't go down onto the beach unless you are sure you can get back up it. None of the other access points are easier. Where this track ends at the beach is the north end of the open beach riding area. Airing down is recommended for full-size 4x4s. An OHV permit and safety flag are required for this area.

Difficulty

This rating is based on the most difficult section, and that is right as it gets to the beach, or as you come back from the beach. It's a climb on some loose sand, with driftwood often limiting the available lines on the beach side.
