These are fun, wide and remote trails from Metolius river to Three Finger Jack area.

Difficulty

Most of the trail is easy. There are some long sections of washbaord near the top that are pretty rough. There are also some areas of loose sand and ruts. Large muddy puddles may be present in spring.

Clear day, good views, temperature dived at higher altitude plus a bit windy at Jack Lake. It’s a nice drive.

Leaving the Chip seal Road and entering FS Road snow ice and mud in patches about 4 inches deep in the consistency of a heavy ice snowcone slopes tend to be a little bit more difficult as it’s icy and sunny so slippery
